Qualifications:
- Current Washington Occupational Therapist license
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification required
- Experience in school settings or working with elementary-aged children is highly desirable
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to providing student-centered, evidence-based therapy
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of 42 elementary students
- Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans to support educational and developmental goals
- Collaborate closely with special education teachers, classroom staff, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to documentation and progress reporting
- Create and implement interventions that facilitate independence, participation, and skill-building within the school environment
- Provide support and training to educators and staff on integrating therapeutic strategies in the classroom
