What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- Active Illinois OT license (or eligibility, with completion required before starting)
- Background in delivering occupational therapy in schools, home health, or teletherapy settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dedication to fostering independence and supporting academic achievement in students
What You’ll Do:
- Provide occupational therapy services to elementary through high school students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress, maintaining proper documentation
- Create and adapt therapeutic interventions to fit a range of student abilities
- Support students both on-site and, if needed, through teletherapy platforms
- Participate in school meetings and contribute expertise as a valued member of a multidisciplinary team
