You’ll help students overcome barriers to learning by addressing fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills in classroom and home health settings.
Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
- Current Arizona Occupational Therapist license
- Valid fingerprint card
- Experience in school-based and/or pediatric settings preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate student needs and develop effective intervention strategies
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress
- Document services and progress in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Consult with teachers, families, and other service providers to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized educational planning
