Travel Occupational Therapist School Setting in Mundelein, IL

Your role will primarily focus on the intermediate grades (3-5) within a single building, letting you build meaningful relationships within the school community and tailor your approach to each student's needs. Fostering your expertise amid diverse educational practices enhances your marketability for future opportunities, while your flexible schedule lets you enjoy meaningful adventures during downtime.
Qualifications:
- Valid OT license in Illinois
- Experience in school-based OT or with pediatric populations
- Strong communication and consultative skills
- Expertise in fine motor and sensory interventions
- Ability to collaborate with teachers and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Serve one building’s intermediate grades (3-5), mainly consultative with some direct therapy
- Support approximately 25 students (mainly consult services, some direct fine motor/sensory support)
- Plan and implement school-based OT interventions
- Work 2 to 3 days per week (either as two full days or spread over more shorter days)
- Maintain documentation and communicate progress to multidisciplinary team
