Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist license in Oklahoma (OK PT License required)
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations, preferably within school settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and staff
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students’ unique needs
- Proficiency with assessment tools specific to school-aged children
- Flexibility and adaptability within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to K-12 students, addressing a diverse range of needs
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized and group interventions as part of IEP/504 plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other related service providers to facilitate student success
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with school and district policies
- Educate staff and caregivers on therapeutic strategies that support students in the classroom and at home
- Participate actively in team meetings, professional development, and IEP conferences
