What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as an occupational therapist in schools, healthcare, or home health settings
- Competency in teletherapy for delivering virtual OT services
- Solid understanding of fine and gross motor skill development
- Familiarity with IEPs and individualized therapy planning for K-12 students
- State licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Delaware (or eligibility to obtain)
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments and interventions targeting students’ fine and gross motor skills
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with educational goals
- Deliver services onsite and via teletherapy as needed
- Work closely with educators and support staff to create inclusive classroom environments
- Regularly document progress and participate in IEP and team meetings
- Educate families and teachers on strategies to support student success
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
