This full-time contract position is designed for a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide critical services during a maternity leave and continue with essential evaluations and direct interventions for students aged preschool through elementary. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering occupational therapy services to students, supporting their access to education and participation in school activities
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments at both the elementary school and Early Learning Center (ELC)
- Developing and implementing individualized intervention plans tailored to students’ needs
- Collaborating with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to monitor progress and adjust therapeutic interventions as needed
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation in compliance with school and professional guidelines
Qualifications we are seeking:
- Active, valid Occupational Therapist license
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with evaluations and direct service delivery for preschool and elementary-age populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to working onsite five days per week (COTAs will not be considered for this opportunity)
This assignment runs from August 24, 2026, through June 16, 2027, with a 37.5-hour week, Monday through Friday. Initially, you’ll split your time between the elementary school and ELC, then transition to a full-time schedule exclusively at the ELC after the maternity leave period.
