School Occupational Therapist - Wilmington, Delaware

In this onsite-only role, you'll first cover a maternity leave split between an elementary school and an Early Learning Center. Once the maternity leave concludes, you’ll provide full-time support at the Early Learning Center for the remainder of the school year.

The assignment runs from August 24, 2026, through June 16, 2027, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Key Qualifications:
- Active license as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy is preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in both therapeutic evaluations and direct services
- Confidence working with both elementary-aged children and early childhood populations
- Ability to foster an inclusive, supportive environment for students with diverse needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough, student-centered occupational therapy evaluations
- Deliver engaging, goal-oriented therapy sessions to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and school teams to support optimal student outcomes
- Transition duties as needed following the maternity leave period
- Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to district, state, and federal guidelines for school-based therapy
