Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for New Jersey
- Demonstrated experience working in school-based or pediatric settings
- Strong understanding of IEP documentation, implementation, and case management
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational setting
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate students’ needs and strengths to develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver targeted therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to optimize classroom participation and learning
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
- Provide guidance and resources to families regarding at-home strategies
- Support integration of assistive technology and classroom modifications as necessary
