Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an active Michigan Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- Background in school-based OT practice strongly preferred
- Experience working with K-12 students, addressing a range of developmental and functional needs
- Skilled in developing and implementing individualized treatment and support plans
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Flexibility to work full-time or as part of a two-person part-time team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services as outlined in IEPs for students from K-12
- Assess and identify student needs using evidence-based tools and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
- Develop and execute therapeutic interventions targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive strategies
- Consult regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress
- Document services, maintain compliance with regulations, and contribute to IEP meetings and progress reviews
