Qualifications & Skills:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapist license in Wisconsin (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience strongly preferred
- Understanding of IEP processes and documentation standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Collaborative mindset with willingness to work with teachers, staff, and families
- Comfortable working independently and managing a diverse caseload
Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs through standardized tools and observation
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans to support students’ participation and performance in the school setting
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt classroom environments and activities for diverse student needs
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, progress reports, and parent conferences
- Provide training and resources to support staff and families
- Maintain appropriate records and ensure compliance with all school and state requirements
