You’ll join a positive environment where teamwork is valued. Your primary caseload will include 35-45 students, mostly in elementary grades, ensuring direct, meaningful connections with children at a formative stage. Benefit from the support of two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) who will help you deliver comprehensive, high-quality therapy tailored to each child’s needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Active OT license in Wisconsin (or eligibility)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to engaging, child-centered interventions
- Ability to work alongside COTAs to maximize student outcomes
Duties Include:
- Conducting evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans for students
- Providing direct occupational therapy to support educational access and participation
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and school teams to integrate therapy goals
- Supervising and mentoring COTAs for effective program delivery
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
