Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous experience in a school environment or with pediatric populations preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students’ academic success and independence
- Deliver direct therapy sessions both individually and in groups, targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings, contribute to goal setting, and provide necessary documentation
- Offer guidance and training for teachers and support staff regarding accommodations and supports
- Maintain clear, accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and staff
