Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California
- NBCOT certification preferred
- School-based or pediatric experience a plus
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Assess students and create individualized occupational therapy plans
- Deliver direct/indirect OT services aligned with student IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary staff
- Document and report student progress, participate in IEP meetings
- Recommend adaptive equipment and classroom strategies
- Adjust intervention strategies based on ongoing student evaluation
