Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license (OT) and credentials applicable to school-based practice
- Previous experience in school-based Occupational Therapy preferred but not required
- Ability to work full-time and adapt to new environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, educators, and families
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and best practices in pediatric OT
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with virtual platforms if selecting voco/remote assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services either onsite within a school environment or remotely, based on your choice
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ IEPs and overall functional success
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state documentation standards
- Participate in meetings, staffings, and professional development offerings
- Help foster an inclusive, supportive environment promoting each student’s independence and success
