School Occupational Therapist | Oneida, Wisconsin
A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist passionate about supporting students’ growth and development. This full-time, onsite position runs the length of the academic year, offering the chance to make meaningful contributions throughout the school community. The assignment begins August 31, 2026, and continues through June 3, 2027, with a 37.5-hour weekly schedule.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience providing occupational therapy services in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Understanding of IEP process, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Comfort working with diverse student populations
- Ability to work independently, onsite, in a fast-paced academic environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students as outlined by IEPs and referral processes
- Conduct assessments and collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Document evaluations, interventions, and progress according to school and professional guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and family communications as needed
- Adapt materials and environments to facilitate student access to curriculum and activities
- Maintain clear records in compliance with district and legal standards
