Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid OT license in Wisconsin (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Knowledge of current best practices and laws related to school-based therapy
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Assess and document students’ needs, progress, and outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and student support teams
- Design and implement interventions that facilitate access to curriculum and school activities
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, evaluations, and professional development
This contract position is set to run full-time from August 31, 2026 to June 3, 2027, allowing you to hone your skills and build invaluable experience within an educational setting.
