Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license, with experience in school, home health, or healthcare settings
- Familiarity with IEP processes and individualized interventions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to partner effectively with teachers, students, and families
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for diverse classroom settings and age groups
- Passion for fostering holistic development in students from kindergarten through high school
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services within classrooms using a push-in model
- Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to implement strategies that support student participation
- Provide individualized interventions and documentation for students with IEPs
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Foster an encouraging, positive environment where every student’s strengths are valued
