Pay: $45–$56/hour
Hours: Full-time, 37.5–40 hours/week
Assignment: 2026–2027 School Year
About the Role
ProCare Therapy is partnering with a highly supportive school district in Palatine, IL to hire a School Occupational Therapist. This is a great opportunity for a clinician looking for a manageable caseload, strong school team collaboration, and a positive district culture. Travelers are welcome to apply.
In this role, you will support students in developing essential academic and functional skills that promote independence in the classroom. You’ll work closely with educators and support staff to ensure students receive consistent, high-quality therapy services.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct OT services in school settings
• Conduct evaluations and support IEP development
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans
• Address sensory, fine motor, and motor planning needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Caseload Details
• Setting: Elementary-focused
• Caseload size: 35–50 students (approx.)
• Focus areas: sensory regulation, handwriting, fine motor development
• School sites: 1 building
Qualifications
• Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license
• School-based experience preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
• $45–$56/hour based on experience
