Occupational Therapist School Setting - Paterson, NJ

What We’re Looking For:
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience working within school settings or pediatric populations
- Strong knowledge of IEP process and documentation requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and families
- Organized, flexible, and proactive approach to therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and self-regulation needs
- Develop, document, and monitor treatment plans and progress toward goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams to support student success
- Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and assistive devices
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth
