With schedules running from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, you’ll have the structure you need while making meaningful contributions each day. Positions are available to start as soon as possible, continuing through June 10, making this a great chance to gain experience and expand your professional network.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active and valid Alabama OT certification/license (required; proof must be provided)
- Previous experience in school-based OT settings is strongly preferred
- Comfort with both individual and small-group therapy, along with push-in service models
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive learning environment
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy across individual, small group, and classroom-based formats
- Adapt services to align with each student’s IEP frequency and duration (30 min weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly sessions)
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure coordinated care
- Track and document student progress, making recommendations for ongoing support
- Engage across four elementary and secondary sites, enhancing your versatility as a practitioner
