Occupational Therapist School Setting in Peru, NY

The student is currently receiving homebound instruction for the 26/27 school year, and your skills will be central to their ongoing development and care.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in New York
- Experience in school-based or pediatric OT (preferred)
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt therapy plans for children with multiple disabilities and medical complexities
- Comfort providing onsite services in a home-based setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy sessions three times a week, 45 minutes per session, in the student’s home
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the student’s unique needs
- Regularly monitor and document progress, adjusting strategies as appropriate
- Engage with the student’s educators, medical professionals, and family to ensure coordinated care
- Participate in virtual team meetings with other providers once every five weeks to support a holistic approach
