Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in New York
- Prior experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations preferred
- Familiarity with developing and implementing individualized OT treatment plans
- Strong collaborative and communication skills for participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Comfort providing therapy in a home-based setting and adapting interventions for students with multiple disabilities
Position Details:
- Serve one student placed on homebound instruction with varied medical needs
- Deliver OT services three times weekly for 45-minute sessions in the student’s home environment
- Participate in a virtual team meeting with other providers approximately every five weeks
- Travel locally to the student’s location as needed
- Support the student’s diverse sensory, motor, and adaptive needs in coordination with caregivers and the educational team
