Occupational Therapist School Setting in Peyton, CO

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT license valid in the state of Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational abilities and adaptability in a multi-school assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students on your caseload
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommending strategies tailored to each student’s needs
- Serve as a resource for school staff regarding sensory, motor, and adaptive functioning
- Travel between schools as scheduled, managing time effectively to meet student needs
