Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in Pennsylvania
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple campuses
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education documentation
- Adaptable to dynamic school environments and changing student requirements
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive OT assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Support students in achieving academic and functional goals related to fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive skills
- Collaborate with teachers and other specialists to integrate OT strategies into classroom routines
- Provide direct therapy sessions as well as consultation to staff and families
- Document all services and progress according to school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
- Travel between school sites across Montgomery County as needed
