Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license for Pennsylvania
- Previous experience serving young children in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Familiarity with completing evaluations, assessments, and delivering both direct and indirect therapy
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective collaboration with teams and families
- Understanding of IEP (Individualized Education Plan) processes
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to individual student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to children ages 3-5 as outlined in their IEPs
- Participate in initial and re-evaluations to assess student skills and determine the need for OT interventions
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, including educators, support staff, and families
- Offer both direct and consultative support designed to maximize each child's functional independence
- Develop and update IEP goals; monitor student progress and adjust plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate records and document all services in accordance with school procedures
