Pay: $45–$55/hour
Hours: Full-time, 37.5–40 hours/week
Assignment: 2026–2027 School Year
About the Role
ProCare Therapy is seeking a School Occupational Therapist to support a well-established district in Plainfield, IL. This position offers a consistent weekly schedule, a supportive special education team, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on student growth in a structured school environment. This role is ideal for an OT who enjoys working in collaborative school systems and supporting students with a wide range of developmental and functional needs. You will have strong district support and access to a team that values related service providers.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver occupational therapy services across assigned school sites
• Conduct student evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Support IEP goals and progress monitoring
• Provide interventions targeting sensory, motor, and functional skills
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams
• Maintain documentation aligned with district standards
Caseload Details
• Setting: Elementary schools
• Caseload size: 45–60 students (approx.)
• Focus areas: handwriting, sensory integration, motor planning, ADLs
• School sites: 2 buildings
Qualifications
• Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
• Strong organization and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
• $45–$55/hour
