Occupational Therapist School Setting in Plainfield, NJ
Embark on a fulfilling contract position as a school-based Occupational Therapist supporting early childhood students in a welcoming New Jersey school environment. What You’ll Do:
- Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to early childhood students’ needs
- Foster growth in fine motor, sensory, self-care, and developmental areas
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with school teams
- Work closely with teachers, families, and staff to monitor and support student progress
- Conduct evaluations, maintain documentation, and track therapeutic outcomes
Required Credentials & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active New Jersey Occupational Therapist license
- Experience with early childhood populations preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Ability to successfully complete all background and clearance checks required by the district
