Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Occupational Therapist license in New York
- Experience or strong interest in school-based OT services
- Familiarity with supporting students with significant medical needs or multiple disabilities
- Skill in collaborating with families and professionals
- Ability to maintain organized documentation and participate effectively in virtual meetings
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver home-based OT services three times per week for 45-minute sessions, targeting the student's unique needs and goals
- Routinely assess progress, adapting interventions to promote optimal independence and participation
- Coordinate care by participating in virtual team meetings with fellow providers every five weeks, sharing insights and recommendations
- Partner with caregivers and educators to implement strategies and ensure consistency
- Keep detailed, compliant records that reflect student progress and ongoing needs
This position is onsite in the home, with schedule and hours to be determined for the 2026-2027 school year.
