Desired Background and Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
- Familiarity with supporting students ages Pre-K through elementary
- Ability to develop and implement IEP goals tailored to individual needs
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, focusing on fine motor, sensory integration, and adaptive skills
- Work closely with educators and special education teams to provide consultative support and strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and IEP compliance
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to collaborative planning
