Step into an impactful role supporting students' growth as an Occupational Therapist. This contract position is based onsite at schools in the Pleasant Prairie, WI area, providing essential services to elementary-aged students. You’ll manage a smaller, focused caseload—typically 35 to 45 children—across up to three schools, allowing for deep, meaningful connections and personalized interventions.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Occupational Therapy license in Wisconsin
- Possess a current Educator Certification as required by state regulations
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to fostering student independence and success in educational environments
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ occupational therapy needs and develop appropriate IEP goals
- Deliver onsite therapy services to elementary-aged students, adapting activities and strategies for individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, other service providers, and families to maximize student participation and achievement
- Accurately document progress and maintain compliance with all required reports and procedures
- Travel between assigned school sites as needed (all within a close radius)
