Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Nevada
- Experience or strong interest in working with children and adolescents in a school-based environment
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and tracking student progress
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to travel between sites as needed
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across K-12 campuses
- Assess student needs and develop effective intervention plans in collaboration with special education teams
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, and student progress in accordance with district and state requirements
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory-processing, and adaptive skills for educational success
- Engage with teachers, parents, and related service professionals to ensure integrated care for each student
- Contribute actively to IEP meetings by sharing recommendations and progress updates
