School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Reno, NV 89502
Position Type: Full-Time | 2026–2027 School Year
We are actively seeking a dedicated and student-focused Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive school district in the Reno area for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative special education team while helping students develop the skills they need to thrive in the classroom and beyond.
What You'll Do:
Provide occupational therapy services to students with a variety of developmental, physical, and sensory needs
Conduct evaluations and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
Develop and implement treatment plans to support student goals
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
What You Bring:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
Active Nevada OT license (or ability to obtain)
School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
A student-centered approach to therapy and intervention
