Hiring School Based Occupational Therapist - Ridgefield, CT

Location: Ridgefield, Connecticut
Schedule: Full-Time, 34.17 Hours Per Week
Caseload: Elementary School Students
Position Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations regarding student services
- Support students in improving fine motor, sensory processing, self-help, and classroom participation skills
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Consult with educational staff to support student success across school environments
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district guidelines
Qualifications
- Active Connecticut Occupational Therapist (OT) License
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for supporting students with diverse learning and developmental needs
