School Psychologist – Full-Time | PreK–8th Grade
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time, school-based position. This is an itinerant role serving multiple school locations and supporting students from PreK through 8th grade.
Position Details:
- Full-Time: 35 hours per week
- Caseload: PreK–8th grade
- Setting: School-based
- Position Type: Itinerant
- Locations: Multiple school locations
- Experience: Previous school-based experience required
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement appropriate intervention plans
- Provide counseling and behavioral support to students as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary team members
- Participate in IEP meetings and eligibility determinations
- Maintain accurate documentation and student records
- Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development
- Travel between multiple school locations as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut School Psychologist License
- Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Previous school-based experience required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively across multiple school settings
