Occupational Therapist opening in Rockford, IL

Job Details:
- Full time, 37.5 hours a week
- Caseload determined by preference
- 26/27 School Year
- Onsite
Qualifications:
Current, active Illinois OT license
Previous experience providing occupational therapy in a school setting
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to organize and manage a caseload efficiently
Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized therapy plans, and track student progress
Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students across K-12
Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support each child’s educational goals
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in line with school and state requirements
Participate in IEP meetings and provide constructive recommendations
Cultivate a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere that values each student’s strengths
You’ll be working a consistent 35-hour week with two roles available, allowing you to truly make a difference throughout the school year. The impact you’ll make with students, families, and fellow educators is at the heart of this rewarding opportunity.
