Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina Occupational Therapist license required
- Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience preferred
- Familiarity with the IEP process, including writing goals and progress documentation
- Comfortable conducting school-based therapy practices such as evaluations, reporting, and case management
Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy services to a diverse caseload of approximately 30-35 students, ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, create tailored treatment goals, and provide ongoing progress updates
- Conduct evaluations and develop intervention plans in alignment with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support
- Maintain detailed documentation and reports as required by school policy
- Adapt scheduling and service delivery to align with the school calendar and students’ needs
This contract offers a flexible 37.5-hour workweek across five days, following the school calendar. Compensation for this position ranges from $43.67 to $47.82 per hour, depending on experience and determined during the interview process.
