Key Role Details:

- Serve a diverse caseload of students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate closely with a highly responsive director; interview and potential offer may occur the same day
Preferred Background and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Michigan
- Previous experience delivering school-based OT services, including IEP participation and thorough documentation practices
- Strong ability to assess student needs and develop customized interventions to advance access to curriculum and participation
- Excellent communication skills for effective consultation with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience working with a broad range of student abilities and age groups is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to support student growth and academic participation
- Deliver targeted OT interventions, both individually and in small groups
- Monitor progress, adjusting interventions as necessary for optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Provide recommendations to staff and families for strategies fostering student independence and skill development
