In this role, you’ll engage directly with students to assess, design, and implement individualized therapy plans that enhance their academic participation and functional independence. Spanning the academic year from August 20, 2026, to June 14, 2027, this assignment allows you to build impactful relationships across a diverse student caseload.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the state
- Prior experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations
- Familiarity with K-12th grade age groups and their developmental needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams, families, and teachers
- Excellent documentation and organizational abilities
- Commitment to delivering services onsite
- Flexibility, empathy, and adaptability within a dynamic educational setting
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs and develop targeted intervention plans
- Provide direct therapy sessions in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to ensure holistic support for each student
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer consultative guidance to educators on accommodations and adaptive strategies
- Contribute actively to team meetings and ongoing student progress reviews
