Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current California OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- School-based OT experience preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and families
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess students’ needs using a range of standardized tools and create targeted intervention plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and documentation to support student success
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and other specialists to integrate OT strategies into classroom routines
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and maintain accurate records
- Educate staff and families on recommended accommodations and supports
