Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapy license in California
- Experience working as an OT in school-based and/or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process, therapeutic interventions, and documentation requirements for school-aged children
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and communicate effectively with school staff, students, and families
- Commitment to promoting independence and life skills among students with a variety of physical, developmental, and learning challenges
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person occupational therapy services to students across assigned campuses according to IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide consultation and education to teachers, support staff, and parents on interventions and strategies
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support the holistic development of each student
