What You'll Tackle:
- Assessing and treating students with physical, cognitive, and sensory challenges to help maximize their access and participation in school activities
- Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and professionals to create tailored treatment plans and set meaningful goals
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations and delivering individualized therapy sessions
- Providing guidance and education to school staff, supporting them in strategies and accommodations that benefit students with disabilities
- Monitoring student progress, maintaining accurate documentation, and adjusting interventions as needed
Desired Background:
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Occupational Therapist License
- Current state licensure/certification
- Previous experience within a school setting is highly preferred
