Occupational Therapist School Setting - Seattle, WA

Embrace an in-person, full-time Occupational Therapist contract role supporting learners aged 3 to 22 across a district near vibrant Seattle, WA. This assignment starts August 26, 2026, and extends through June 16, 2027. Before school begins, you’ll participate in four paid orientation days (August 17, 20, 21, and 24) to connect with colleagues and get acquainted with the district’s approach.
You’ll provide itinerant services district-wide, working closely with students, educators, and families to foster independence, enhance participation, and develop essential skills in a school-based setting. Your expertise will have a profound impact on learners at every developmental stage.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Washington State OT Certificate
- WA ESA (Educational Staff Associate) credential
- Proof of completed fingerprinting/background check
- Currently residing in the country
- Minimum of one year experience in a school-based occupational therapy setting
- Availability for in-person services throughout the contract term
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to early learners, elementary, middle, and high school-age students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEP goals
- Assess students and document progress regularly
- Travel throughout the district to ensure all assigned students receive support
- Participate in professional development and orientation activities
