Make a difference in students’ lives by providing essential occupational therapy services in a vibrant K-12 school environment on a part-time, contract basis. This onsite position supports students across all grade levels, collaborating with school staff to foster student independence and success. The term runs from August 17 to June 3, 2027, offering a meaningful opportunity to impact a diverse student population.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Colorado Teaching License (CDE) is required
- Occupational Therapy endorsement
- Experience serving K-12 students, preferably within a school environment
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to varying student needs and school settings
- Enthusiasm for supporting students’ functional development and academic participation
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapeutic strategies in coordination with educational staff and families
- Document student progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services in alignment with school goals and student objectives
- Serve as a resource and advocate for occupational therapy within the school community
- Adapt therapy plans based on evolving student requirements and latest best practice standards
