An exciting contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students for the 2026/2027 school year. With 20 hours per week, this position allows you to make a meaningful impact while maintaining balance in your work and personal life.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license
- Experience working as a school-based OT is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of pediatric therapy techniques for a diverse K-12 population
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and provide individualized occupational therapy interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ academic participation and independence
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development for students with special needs
- Offer consultative services and training to staff regarding strategies for student success
- Travel within the school as needed to serve students across multiple grade levels
