Key Requirements:
- Active South Carolina Occupational Therapy license is essential
- Previous experience within a school setting or working with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students and work independently
- Comfortable working full-time hours (37.5 per week) during the assignment window
What You’ll Do:
- Provide targeted occupational therapy assessments and interventions according to students’ educational plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain detailed session notes, progress reports, and documentation as required
- Support students in developing fine motor, adaptive, and sensory processing skills that enhance participation in school activities
- Adjust service delivery as needed to meet individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Attend meetings, contribute to IEP development, and communicate progress toward therapeutic objectives
