Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Proven background providing OT services in school, home health, and healthcare settings
- Familiarity with both onsite and teletherapy delivery methods
- Experience designing and implementing IEPs and therapy plans for children and adolescents
- Strong collaborative skills to work with interdisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
- Assess students’ needs, develop and update IEP goals, and document progress
- Consult with teachers and staff to modify classroom materials or techniques that promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise in related decision-making
- Maintain thorough and timely records per school and regulatory guidelines
- Adapt delivery of services for a blend of on-campus and teletherapy as needed
- Engage in ongoing collaboration with families to support carryover of strategies in home environments
