School Occupational Therapist - Springfield, Vermont

Supporting diverse learners collaboratively, you’ll play a central role in helping students achieve their goals while working closely with other supportive professionals.
Your role will focus on delivering comprehensive OT services, with the chance to guide a COTA who will provide support for upper elementary through high school grades. Embrace the vibrant school community in four buildings, fostering growth and learning from late August through June.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Vermont OT or COTA Certificate (required)
- Experience working with K–12 students preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong communication skills and adaptability
- Passion for school-based occupational therapy practices
- For virtual roles and initial pitches, digital proficiency and effective remote communication
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to K–12 students
- Supervise and collaborate with the assigned COTA as needed
- Develop, implement, and document individualized therapy interventions/goals
- Support student skill acquisition for participation in academics and daily activities
- Work with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
- Attend meetings and contribute to educational planning
