Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Active Georgia Occupational Therapist license and GaPSC Certification (both required)
- Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Background working with students with disabilities is advantageous
- Ability and willingness to provide all services onsite
- Successful completion of all required clearance checks
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 30 minutes of dedicated OT services weekly per student, aligning with each student’s IEP
- Assess fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills, tailoring therapy to support academic participation
- Collaborate with teachers, special education professionals, and support staff to ensure the needs of each student are met
- Recommend targeted classroom accommodations and strategies to foster student learning and inclusion
- Track and report student progress; maintain thorough, accurate documentation
- Stay in communication with the educational team regarding both progress and adjustments to service delivery
- Observe and follow all IEP and regulatory guidelines during all therapy sessions
