What You’ll Bring:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for California
- Prior experience in school-based Occupational Therapy strongly preferred
- Familiarity with common pediatric diagnoses relevant to school settings
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement effective therapy plans
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for engaging with K-12 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and eligibility for OT services
- Develop, document, and execute individualized treatment and intervention plans
- Collaborate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to goal development and progress monitoring
- Provide direct and consultative therapy that supports student participation in classroom and school activities
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and regulatory guidelines
- Educate and support staff and family members on strategies to enhance student performance and independence
